Veloura Collections ("we", "us") operates this website for our boutique in Golden Grove New Extension, St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Data Protection Act (2013) of Antigua and Barbuda.
What we collect
When you submit an order request we collect your name, your WhatsApp or mobile number, and — if you choose to give it — your email address, your delivery area, and any message you write for us. We also record the pieces you selected and the date and time of your request.
When you send an enquiry or join The Velvet Club we collect the contact details you provide in that form.
We record the IP address you used when you gave consent to be contacted, as proof of that consent.
We keep our own count of which pages are viewed, how long a page stays open, and which pieces and categories are clicked, so we know what to stock and what to photograph better. That count records no name, no IP address, and no advertising identifier, and it sets no cookie of its own — visits are grouped only by the temporary session your browser already uses to hold your selection, stored as a one-way code that cannot be turned back into you.
Why we collect it
We use your contact details for one purpose: to reply to you about your order or enquiry, confirm pricing, and arrange collection or delivery. Because we do not take payment online, this conversation — usually on WhatsApp — is how every order is completed.
If you join The Velvet Club we will also send you occasional emails about new arrivals and boutique events. You can unsubscribe at any time.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not collect card or bank details through this website — no payment is processed online. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Who can see it
Your information is visible to the boutique owner and authorised staff. It is stored on our hosting provider's servers. Messages you send us on WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as a business and transaction record, as contemplated by the Electronic Transactions Act (2013). Enquiries are kept while they are open and for a reasonable period afterwards. Anonymous website usage statistics are kept for no more than 90 days.
Your rights
You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond as quickly as we can.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to the admin area is restricted and password-protected, and administrative actions are logged.
